I didn’t grow up sorting pairs, branding, or roping. My family didn’t have horses or cattle. When I turned six, I asked if I could take riding lessons. I competed on the Oklahoma State Women’s Equestrian team for five years, winning two Big 12 Championships. I met my husband, a rope horse trainer during my time at OSU. We now own 20+ horses together including “Metal Figure.” After college, I scored my dream job at the PRCA as the TV Programming and Production Manager where I get to have a hand in the national broadcasts on our industry’s most iconic rodeos.
