That Western Life Podcast X COWGIRL Episode 3: Shaley Ham

We’re back with the third collaborative episode with That Western Life! This week, Shaley Ham, member of the inaugural COWGIRL 30 Under 30 class, sits down to chat with Katie and Rachel. Shaley is a full time tax accountant from Washington, with a love for the Western lifestyle who, after getting noticed for her Western fashion posts, began to build her own Western fashion marketing business!

“While most people recognize Shaley Ham by her Instagram and blog handle, West Desperado, Shaley has used her creativity and passion for Western fashion to become one of the most sought-after Western Fashion influencers. A daughter of 2016 National Finals Rodeo Barrel Racer Pam Capper, Shaley grew up on the back of a horse and attending junior rodeos. But it wasn’t until after she graduated college that she stepped back into her Western fashion boots and created a small side account to post her fashion ideas and favorites.

“That account quickly grew and, after amassing nearly 120,000 followers on the platform, Shaley has continued to grow and build her brand through all of the social media changes. From her own line of hats with War Bonnet Hatworks and a denim and shirt line with Rock’n’Roll Denim, we can’t wait to see what Shaley does next! In this episode, the member of the inaugural COWGIRL Magazine 30 Under 30 class chats about her tips for brand collaborations, her role at the big fashion market shows, and her advice for those interested in applying for the 2022 COWGIRL Magazine 30 Under 30 class!”
